Austin's Centexvq.com is planning a Tech Day sometime in August or September of this year. Last time we got together we did all kinds of upgrades and maintenance to our Gs & Zs.

Some work done was installation of H Tech springs, detailed 2 cars, air filters changed, engine ground kit installed, brakes changed, headlight buffing, and other miscellaneous repairs. Many of us also have experience with installing exhausts, mrev2 plenums, 5/16 spacers, intakes, lighting, Ipod kits, oil changes, transmission flush, coolant flush, etc...etc...

Basically we all get together have some pizza and beer and help each other with our rides. Who would be interested in joining us next Tech Day?


We had about 12 cars show last time here is a few pics.

Count me in. I need my drivers side window looked at. Sometimes is work and sometimes it doesn't, something must be loose but I haven't the slightest clue what to look for. When and where?

 

Are you guys in a crew? I remember you setting up previous meets with a lot of G35s. I would totally be up for meeting some of you guys.

supersak hit up sick z on here he rolled my fenders last weekend, awesome guy took about an hour and cost $50 can't be beat

 

put that meet together, i live in dallas but ill make the trip as long as its posted in advance, ill be there just name the place, with directions, and the time, yall drive safe

 

We can look into it, it could be something simple or you might have to replace the little motor that rols up the window. It would be good if you did a little research before hand so we can be better prepared come Tech Day. The Centexvq crew gets together every 2nd Saturday of every month. We also get together every now and then just for kicks. We started as a small group of G/Z fanatics and now we are all good friends about 20 strong.

I need to get my fenders rolled as well, so we will be renting the fender lip rolling tool. That way we can roll everyones fenders with the proper equipment. Afterwards we can all pitch in to cover the cost of the rental. It cost $50 to rent it so between a few of us that cost should be next to nothing.

So far it looks like this will take place on Saturday September 13th. We'll start at around 10am and will probably last all day. This gives everyone plenty of time to order new parts and have everything ready in time. The location is still up in the air, but it will probably be somewhere near 183 & Mcneil rd.



It's always good to meet more G/Z fans.

I'll be there. Bringing extra tools if you got em might be a good idea. Mine came in handy last meet.

+1, you dont gotta go all the way to atx for a fender roll. We are suppose to have a small tech day as well.

 

I'll come hang out! Everyone will be able to see my new gauges..everything in the car will be white with blue backlighting..Just mailed them off for the mod today.
This will be cool to finally meet some other Z fanatics in Austin..

I know i will be changing out my front brake pads for sure. <--easy

I have some other things planned but have not decided yet.
