Late notice, but any Austin Z/G guys want to meet up this Saturday, do a drive, and grab lunch? We can do a long day (Marble falls) or a short day, meet up at your local Hooters/Bone Daddy's/etc. and just eat lunch. Who's in?

 

Actually there's a group of MR2 folks driving from Houston to Kerrville (through Austin), and they're staying the night at a hotel in Kerrville. I was thinking about joining them for the drive out there saturday in my MR2 (my Z is down for a few weeks). I read over on CZOT that police were rousting everyone, because of complaints from property managers.




I'd like to meet for a cruise or something. Bought my car in May, and so far, only done cruises with the Texas RXs (Mazda rotary club).

Local Zs don't seem to do much.

Or I'm just missing it.

Initial meet: Albertson's vacant lot @Oakhill "Y". Where HW 71 and 290 meet.

Route: We'll go through Wimberley and Blanco. We'll have lunch at Blanco or Fredsbg depending on time & # of people involved. We'll probably stop at Fredsbg to walk the town at bit as time permits. On the way back Dinner will be in Johnson City where we will stop to check out the Christmas lights.

This would be an all day event. If anyone needs to leave early they can head home via US 290.
