That's still pretty lame, Travis, and you know it. If you don't want to go (not can't, because you're choosing not to go), that's your prerogative.

Its not lame it is reality. When you have a family you have to make a choice as to what is more important. I would be first in line and race all the time if I was single. I am going to pass on this time because if I got down there and something broke on the car I would not have the cash to fix it. Times are getting hard and I am in sales and we all know no one is buying anything right now. So the outlook over this year is bleak..

 

When was the last time anybody broke anything expensive on an N/A car, unless the racer/driver is stupid and/or inexperienced? Sounds like somebody's got cold feet or doesn't want to be the slowest car there.

I personally wouldn't have the cash to get a new motor if mine blew, but that's all part of the fun in my mind (knock on wood). Like I said, if you don't want to go, then that's your prerogative - nobody can make you go, but we sure can give you **** for it.

 

 

I hope discount tire has the tires in stock that I need today. The website says that they do so they better. lol

Then I will have all day friday to break them in.

I don't know if i will bring the Camaro out or ride with Mackie, i wouldn't be making any passes if i did b/c my car breaks up on the top end and i don't have the jack to get it looked at to fix it, i just don't drive it hard.

I talked to him yesterday and he might, nothing in stone yet.

I'm gonna go straight to the track from my place. I got held up at work really late and couldnt get to bed early like I planned so that I could get up early enough to drive out Starbucks and meet up with everyone. Sucks but I will cya at the track! I cant wait!

 

Jason, I hope that's not a way of you backing out of this event. If you can't meet us up at Starbucks, we can also meet you along the way. Give me a call tomorrow morning if you have my number (or PM me your number and I'll call you) and we can figure that out.

BTW, Brian's coming and he's bringing some of his buddies from Waco.
