I've always said that the 1/8 mile runs are like being blue balled and never busting a nut.

+1 for Ennis.

Why do you need to work on your RT?

60' improvement only comes from practice.

BTW, be sure to meet us up at our caravan start location (see thread for details).

No. You'll be among the elites. At least you'll be around people who actually use their car for something (race) other than trying to look pretty in it or with it.

I try to go out to the Northstar Dragway 1/8 mile track as much as I can. So you'll probably see me out there. I'm in need of a new clutch here pretty soon though. I'll probably be going out to the Ennis Track in Feb.; which I agree is way better but too damn far for me to go every weekend. The Denton track takes me five minutes to get to unlike the Ennis where it's a good hour, to hour and half. If I'm in dier need to race a 1/4 there lots of straight smooth roads near by.

I think the last time that we went to Ennis we made it there in about 30 min.

It was a little too fast for me but it was fun.

It's not that far. I used to drive to Ennis all the time (almost every single TT day for quite some time). And speeding on the streets FTL.

Yeah, they were going way too fast. I like to cruise there and get the NFS out of my system at the track. Plus, I like seeing the numbers.
