I went to both and HIN Austin was much better IMO. The cars get dirtier outside but the drifting and dyno runs were great entertainment.

Last year's HIN Austin wasn't that hot, in fact it was kinda cold towards the end of the show. Also remember that even it's an HIN Nightshift event (outdoor show) it's not during the hottest part of the day, it's towards the later part of the afternoon and early evening.
