OK folks... I want to go to the airshow on Saturday at the FW Joint Reserve Base. For anyone that hasn't been to this, it's great. Hopefully the weather holds up. As any airshow fan knows, military airbase shows are the best because there's much more military aircraft and the pyrotechnics are amazing. Gates open at 10:00 and I'd like to get there a bit early since traffic builds quick to get into the parking area. So here's the plan. I'm going to have 2 meeting points and hopefully we'll have a good group to roll into the airshow.

I'm in McKinney now, so I figure I might as well see if anyone is around this area and then head to the Founders Plaza at DFW airport (NOTE: it's moved to the NW side of the airport), and then on to the JRB.

7:30am - Meet by the Texas Roadhouse in McKinney. It's at the SE corner of 75 & Eldorado (Specifically, the NE corner of 75 and Market Pl Dr.) - MAP

8:30am - Meet at DFW Airport Founder's Plaza. Google maps is wrong if you search for it. It moved. Texan Trail now dead-ends into the Plaza. Use this MAP

~9:30am - Arrive at the Fort Worth Joint Reserve Base

When did you move to McKinney? We're seeing an increase in My350Z.com members in McKinney.

 

We moved a couple months ago. Our house was too small for the two of us, much less now with a baby, so we got something bigger and fortunately very close to FM 455.

yeah, I keep seeing a red 03-05 coupe in my neighborhood, but the only glimpse I've seen of the driver seemed to be a middle-aged woman. not sure though. there's also a black 03-05 roadster in the neighborhood, but haven't seen anyone outside to meet them.

I'm in Mckinney, and I'm down with some local Mckinney meets if you're interested. I doubt I'll be going to the air show though.
