Definitely a good event. I hope I get some sleep the next time I go, cause I was out of it most the time. But still lots of fun. Got a free instant tan line and burnt head/face even with sunblock. What more can I ask for? lol
Thanks to Jason/Rebecca for picking up the pizza and everything. Thanks Michael for riding with me as a instruction, I forgot to ask to ride with you, next time I'll definitely ask. It was nice meeting everybody as well. For a bmw auto-x the z's sure drowned out the bmw's.

farmers tan and all - this was a BLAST! I had a TON of fun!
Im going back to sleep
EVeryone did great on their times! Zrated got the best time out of the Z's (IIRC) and Jeremy (Squeaky) took the win for the rooks in his HR. Even the ride home was fun.
Next time - lets have even more show up. I mean, dont let the 1982 toyota tercel wagon show you up now.

Nuge, thanks for the pictures. I was really hoping somebody got some pics from yesterday.
Just like last time I went out with the Z guys, I am tanned horribly. I got sunburn on my face, neck, and my arms. I had a hell of a time, though, and the last 2 fun runs I made were a blast.
Anyway, after the event, Elvis and I got bored at the parking lot trying to kill some time and below was the result. Some of it actually looked pretty awesome (my favorite's the Viper ACR inspired stripe, but Nismo graphics inspired tri-stripe and the wheels look good)

I 2nd everyones excitement in regards to the event & also thank Jason and his wife for picking up our lunch. I also wanted to thank everyone for coming out and representing our forum, our cars, and our passion, that goes for the wifes/fiancee's/gf's also. I think I speak for all of us when I say thank you for being there and supporting our endless spending.
P.S. Thanks to Jacob (aka AcidJake) for hooking me up with the g35 stockers so that I may ROAST those next time

Chris: No problem man wish I could've gotten more but most of the z's were running when I was. Good thing you got pictures of your new ACR Viper and Nismo Decals I wasn't able to get any lol
I got like really sunburned lol I even put on sunscreen in the morning and I still got torched lol.
I wish I could've done the fun runs but I can't eat up my street tires They already wore pretty bad from my first three spins lol
Video of my one clean run in the morning lol

Yeah man it was a blast. I'm pretty sure I got pictures of everyone who went to the event from my350z (I think there were 11 of us). It was pretty hard to get a lot of pictures because all of us were in the same run group lol.

It was great seeing so many new people out to an event. I hope everyone enjoyed themselves and is now bitten by the bug to get some more seat time.
All the clubs in the area are very helpful, and can offer free instruction for drivers looking to get faster. Check www.dfwautocross.com for a list of upcoming events.
If you really preferred this more open style of course then I would certainly recommend you check out http://www.texastimetrials.com/
While the time trials calender does not start for a few months they are an excellent opportunity to get as many laps as you want for a low low price.
Here is the link to my fastest run of the event which was a 78.872 in my VW GTI.
