Hey Jayson, or anyone......is this helmut OK for Auto-Cross ?

It is DOT certified.

Otherwise I have my Full face & it's really hot !

^ ya, i know the "rules" probably say its not allowed, but people do it because the club is quite laid back...............

I like the LSBMW club because of this and the people that attend "including us" need to be respectful to safety and cautious........if we do that im sure you will be fine and tehy wont bother.

but to be on the safe side per their website:
2010 Autocross Rules

C. SAFETY REQUIREMENTS:
1. A Snell M-1995/SA-1995 or newer helmet must be worn by any driver or passengers. There are three to four loaner helmets that are available to be used by participants that do not have their own helmet.


I say bring it and run it, and "if" they say anything, then use your other helmet.

J,

So what's the final count for people at TMS ?

I think we are covered with what I have for food right ?

Lets finalize and make sure we have everything......I heard there could be a small chance for a pop up shower.

Do they still run in the rain ?

Wow.....why would they put the course up online? Half the challenge is memorizing the fast line in your head during the walk through.

peeps need to sign up on the list??? so far only those on the list are going and eating i guess??

So far its 9 signed up and only 4 bringing stuff???

Hmm well camping never happened so I can go again and come out a take pics and stuff! Since I have the most cargo room, should I bring like a big ice chest for all the drinks?

nearly every SCCA event I have ever seen has the course out a few days before....

Guys, study the course and print this out for your reference and for the walk through...........


Also notice the RED flags for the work session corners.

Ok so should I bring a fairly large ice chest for drinks? I won't be out there probably as early as everyone else if that matters, probably around 945-10.

yes...ice chest and half filled with ice so we can put the drinks in....

as soon as you get there so we can ice them down by lunch time.

Ok good, I started saving the ice from the freezer and will see if I need to buy more tomorrow morning. I washed the chest too to take sure it's clean and ready.
