Don't tell Jason, but they are a lot better than the RE10R's I sold him.

Yes, they have a "star" on the sidewall as well. They do indeed have limited sizes.

Yep, the smaller diameter helps with acceleration.

It will help shorten them..

the best thing you and most any of you autoX loving dudes can do is buy the G35 sedan, G37, 370z diff that has the 3.7 Final drive in it. The 3.7 will help and for the price its worth it as a complete diff swap versus ring and pinion and labor, install, etc.

Post #3 links you to the ebay salvage yard that sells them.

Guys, i must say, the best thing however would be more seat time, and i mean events you enter, but ALSO, ridding along with others that are better, and not only Z guys like Zrated, but also others out there.....like that S2000 that was doing some clean azz lines..

as for products, mods, investments toward autoX:

1.tires - buy a set of used take off - Rcomps from acidjakes source or from john berget racing dot com for abotu 300 shipped, and buy a set of used wheels or inexpensive quality wheels like mb weapons (152.50 shipped each wheel from Discount tire.com)

2. brakes - start with good pads and rotors, ss lines and motul RBF600, later graduate to a front BBK if you want, no need for rear.

3. gears - see above about 3.7 or buy the 4.08 ones.

note on item 1:
-17's will aid in lowering the rear ratio.
-buying a set of r comps means needing to buy a hitch and autoX trailer or having someone follow u to events to carry your wheels, then tools to swap prior to racing.

That S2K was tearing it up like nobodys business! The yellow one at least is the one I mean. That thing was screaming through turns.

S2K's have razor sharp handling. Point it, and shoot.

BTW, the yellow one just had a set of KW V3 ($3000) Coilovers put on before the event.

I wish they made a convertible hardtop for the S2000 that looked good up and was motorized.

Always great to see class Z fill up when all of ya'll come out. Don't be afraid to ask for instructors or ride alongs with faster drivers to help you.

Here was my fastest run a 62.040 for 3rd in class Y in my GTI.

As always the key to getting faster is more seat time. I hope to see everyone at more events, and if you really want to get lots of seat time and instruction for cheap check outhttp://www.texastimetrials.com

Our courses are a bit more like a road course and feature higher speed driving like this lap from Sunday.

762,

you had some great times out there at TMS.

As for seat time......I hope to be able to get some more every time they go out to TMS.
