DFW -AUTOX - TMS OCT 24th
OKay guys, here is the next TMS EVENT!!!! We had a great turn out at the last one, Aug 7th, event #6!
8 runs!!!
AUTOCROSS!!!!!
Not the local SCCA 3 runs and your done for the day.......8 runs with Lone Star BMW Club AutoX event.
The event will be at TEXAS MOTOR SPEEDWAY (BUS LOT). So there are NO TREES, NO POLES! great for the first timer! Restrooms are walking distance from pit area and makes this venue location very accommodating with near by restaurants as well, etc.
BIG PLUS - THIS IS A SMOOTH SEALED ASPHALT, NO LOOSE GRAVEL AND NO ROCK CHIP DAMAGE AT THIS TRACK LOCATION!
THIS IS AN EXCELLENT TRACK LOCATION FOR A BEGINNER DUE TO THE ZERO ISSUES AND GREAT ACCOMMODATIONS/LOCATION.

Registration isn't up yet, but its usually $35 dollars to enter.
You can see the AutoX tire marks in the Asphalt!
This location is 10 second walking distance from restrooms shown in the pic - the restrooms have showers as well and are open for us to use! Nice clean facility as well.

okay guys............the bringing food is voluntarry, if you guys dont want to cook out we dont have too....
If you choose to buy a lunch or go off to subway, etc is fine, but you must contribute to eat the BBQ as I plan on purchasing just enough for those that participate!!!
So if you sign up to race, and have OTHER lunch plans then just notate that at the end of your name so we know not to count you for the BBQ headcount.
Between me and nugetron we have:
Jason - burgers and buns.
Nugetron - Chips/Snacks, plates and napkins
I think we still need????? add as needed guys? im sure i may miss some stuff??
no particular order???
- BRATS
- Jumbo hot dogs
- buns for both above???
- ketchup, mustard, relish, mayo ---- ALL SQUEEZE BOTTLES for ease??
- Drinks - Gatorades, water, sodas, etc...its hot guys and its a long day of racing, so make sure you bring drinks for yourself forsure!!!
- more burgers and buns????
- more chips?
- for the burgers - SLICED!!! tomatos, pickles, lettuce, onions???? bring sliced in a tupperware or something??? so we dont have to use time cutting/slicing, etc..

I will be going and bringing the grill, trash can, sand bags, and a pop up 10' X 10' canopy and chairs.
I will bring plates, napkins, utensils, etc....

Yes it's on a Sunday and I'm off work. I'm there! I'll be watching unfortunately even though I badly want to drive, just dint wanna risk it considering my trans will only be a week old.

As for goodies.......i feel we still need:
- Drinks - Gatorade's, water, sodas, etc...its hot guys and its a long day of racing, so make sure you bring drinks for yourself for sure regardless!!!
- more burgers and buns????
- more chips?
- deserts?? like cookies or something easy to grab and eat.
-macaroni?? i dunno...lol i love macaroni....
- for the burgers - SLICED!!! tomatos, pickles, lettuce, onions???? bring sliced in a tupperware or something??? so we don't have to use time cutting/slicing, etc..
- Trash bags
- if anyone wants to bring donuts or some pastry's for the morning?????

My girlfriend Michelle is also coming which is awesome since she's never been interested in this kinda stuff. She can bake some brownies and or cookies and they're freakin delicious lol. Jason if it's not a problem, I'd appreciate it of she could do a ride along with you as well. She's really excited about it lol.
