I noticed that nobody is on the list for tomatoes, onions, lettuce, pickles and cheese for the burgers so I guess I'll pick these up in the morning on my way out there. You can't have a good burger without all the extras. I think I'm gonna pick up some barbecue sauce as well since I like it on my burgers. Maybe someone else will too.

Had an awesome time. Good to meet some nice Z/G folks and the ride-alongs were almost as fun as driving!

+ 1 Trillon Jake !

It's that seat time that definitely helps your driving. I felt a lot better on this course & day with weather being nice and cool....for the most part.

To bad Jason had to top your run....you both were haulin' *** thru there today !

Fun times meeting & seeing alll the new peeps today and the BBQ was a great hit. Thanks Jason !

Ha that's cuz I was riding with him lol. Apparently I'm a good luck charm lol 56 seconds ftw

this was so much fun today. Wish I couldve/wouldve driven. Im so happy that Michelle had so much fun. She loved it and is officially ok with me spending more money on my car now lol. She's actually talking about buying me a new set of wheels for Christmas/anniversary/birthday present since all of those fall within a month of each other. It was awesome to finally meet all of you guys today and to be able to put faces with names. Cookout was awesome and I can't wait to do this again.

Default Most improved - fithamoto!

^ awesome pics jake..........love the first one with the down pointer cone....LoL...

yes, was a great turn out and cook out was great....thanks Eric (ALLSTARE4) who showed up later to
watch and helped man the grill with me....

Thanks to everyone that brought food...such a great turn out..........we honestly had very little left over and only a few bags of chips, buns were left over........so great turn out for sure!!

SEAT TIME:

Speaking of seat time and improving overall I must hands down say that the cyber trophy award goes to Chris Fithamoto!!!!

I vote him cyber trophy award for most improved!!! Dammn chis with 58 second run!!!

Everyone must admit that on that course it takes skill to break the 60 marker and get into the fifties..........

I attribute Chris's doing great by having an instructor with him the first few laps, and gradually improving his time through out the day!!! great work man!!! I was super excited to hear that 58 sec time called out for you!!!

AutoX is about improving your time over the course of the day and consistency..............erratic time changes, etc are not improving.....they are signs of needing more seat time and instruction.....

I have been to tons of events........but even I took the time to ride along with Instructor Michael Hollingsworth (Zrated67) to help me learn the most I could....

Mike (Zrated67) killed us all with a 54.4!!!!!

SO who's going to the next one?????
Grand Prairie, TX -- Two weeks! - Lonestar park

I agree when the Rosh mustang can't break into the 50's that says something. It is such a test of skill because you want to push it hard but you have to stay in complete control or else your hitting one of those bloody cones.
It was an awsome time great to meet everyone, I can't wait until the next one so who has been to the course at Lone Star Park from the google earth it looks to be nice smooth pavement? I can't wait to be out there in my G instead of the speed.

Hey guys, just wanted shout out and tell you how awesome that even was yesterday!! It was a challenge to throw my heavy G around that track and my instructor on the first 4 runs said I'm definitely TOO LOW as I was bouncing off the shock bump stops

A huge thanks to everyone that coordinated this and contributed to the food, grille, tent, drinks, snacks, desserts, etc. This is the only way to roll!

Congrats to Jason for edging out Jake on that LAST run I know I could've broken my 58.2 into the 57's at least but I kept rolling into those corners too fast and deep. More seat time is definitely the key! I had a DNF on my first run then I was clean every run after that, no cones & no more DNF's!

As always it was great seeing the swarm of z's. The grill y'all had set up was awesome. Remember that you can always ask for ride alongs or instruction even if the person drives a different car than you. You will get much faster in a shorter period of time if you have instruction.

There is still a months worth of events this year and all the clubs would love to see everyone out. Check www.dfwautocross.com for all the local autocross events, and if you want to try your hands at a higher speed time trial/time attack, check out www.texastimetrials.com.

Here was one of my 53.9s in my VW GTI from tins weekend.

/\ /\ That was a very nice run, a couple of us were comenting on how fast you were, great job to you sir.

John: I was thinking about your setup on my 1 1/2 hour drive home I think you might need some higher spring rates cause even in the pictures you can see the spring compress way to much and to quickly. I am sure you could get some higher compression springs for your coil overs and get Jake to help with the install and she would be like a different car, maybe some sways while your at it.
