It was kinda confusing.
Car Classing is based on engine size:
- Class 1/1R is for engines under 2.3 liters, except Honda S2000 and Lotus
Elise/Exige.
- Class 2/2R is for engines over 2.2 liters, but under 4.0 liters, plus Honda S2000.
- Class 3/3R is for engines over 3.9 liters, plus Lotus Elise/Exige.
- Class S2000 is only for Honda S2000 on street tires.

Well, I saw that but I figured it said 2/2R so I figured it was the same.

Hmm. Below that was this:
"Rotary engine multiplies displacement by 2.0. Usage of forced induction multiplies displacement by 1.5. (This is in addition to the rotary multiplier, if applicable.) Tires with a wear rating under 140 must use the R class."
If I'm reading that right, you and I would be 2, Jason 2R, Kirk 3, Gavin 2, Jake 2R..

Hello. I run the North Texas Autocross Series (hosting the event), so I thought I would drop in. We are certainly happy to have you guys (and gals) join us.
We are actually a spin-off of the North Texas S2000 Owners Club, but we had so many Miatas and other makes, that we just decided to market under a generic name. Plus, I drive a Miata, not an S2000. Anyway, it will be fun watching you guys complete with the S2000 drivers.
I have run at some of the BMW events with you all and I have probably butchered your names when I announced. I'll try to keep the tradition alive for this event, too.
Yep, Pennington Field (Pennington Motor Speedway or PMS) is our smallest venue, but it has an excellent surface and a ton of grip. The course I have planned will kind of loop back onto itself in order to increase the length, but it will still be pretty simple to navigate. I will post a course map up here next week.
Let's hope for some good weather for the final autocross event in DFW for 2010. I hope to host a winter event in January, so keep an eye out on dfwautocross.com, which has a calander with all of the AX events in DFW. There are five clubs that host these babies.

just register with another number......put a tape over one of your 2's and go as number 2 or something??
I know we wont attend "all" the same events as I see you attend MSR events and so forth......so I plan to use my number when I can...you got mine last time....
thats why i made the number 2 last event, and i plan on making 122 and 222 as well..
