[DFW] 2011 VQ AutoCross Championship Thread
I've updated the tenative events for this year and penciled in all 10 plus a few exhibitions.
I'd like to do a 2 day exhibition event where we score with a different format. Probably best time, most consistant, least cones, etc... But I'd want high participation because I think it would be fun if it was a stand alone mini-competition. I'm open to ideas for other types of mini-championships.
I'm going to try and setup the May 14th event this weekend.

I'm up for tweaking the points scheme to give me more and Chris less.
Actually I'd like to see everyone get points. I'm going to check how SCCA does it.

Gavin.... How do you get points for Event 4 in the SCCA format ? You have none in the regular spread sheet. And the others have points also ? So I don't understand the difference.

You're welcome to join us at the remaining events, we'd enjoy the company and get us more presence with the locals. But at this point it probably wouldn't be prudent to partake the championship since only 3 events are left.
......I hope...but more than likely...Gavin will win this First VQ challenge.

Has any of the 370Z guys come out to an autox event yet?
Bummer...wanted to try the new setup out. Well gives me time to get everything nice and tidy before I give her a beating haha. It will be fun to go and watch though and meet everyone, so definitely looking forward to that.
Total D, you can still sign up and drive....it just that the VQ is all internal between ourselves in the Z/G clubs. SO come on out and drive your set up to get a feel of how it is and then you can adjust it as you see fit.
