Scott, looks like there is a small group for the Time trials....so unless you have a craving for something special then I would just come on out and have fun testing out your new camber arms.

Won't be making it this weekend. As I was putting in the Kinetix upper control arms, I discovered the upper part of my left steering spindel was bent!!!! I have had the car for only a couple of months and never noticed it. The car drove fine, the left wheel had more neg camber than the right but not a lot. You can't tell its bent until you compare it with the other one. I even called Stephen at IP to make sure I wasnt going crazy looking at it.

Anyway I have another one already to go in, I just won't be done for Saturday.

I don't see any stress cracks but who nows what you cant see. I feel lucky not to have it give way. I took some picks so I'll get those up when I'm done.

All I have to say is that these Time trials are very fun, fun, fun ! A much better & different way to explore your car & driving ability.

I found out that I am much better at AutoX than the Time trials.....but with more seat time I hope to improve like I have been in AutoX.

Pat was great out there....put down some good times with his Nitto's that suck. But I didn't come too far behind with my best lap....I keep loosing the rear end. Bad breaking into the corners...as per Jerret my instructor. Which is btw..... A BAD *** DRIVER ! I can now see & feel what a good driver can do with a good car & good set of tires on these tracks.

 

Unlike chris, I think I've found that I'm better at time trials than autox lol. I had an absolute blast today though! Can't wait to do it again. We got griped at for not bringing more of our peeps with us and have been instructed to kidnap people if necessary to get them out there lol

Great pics of Pat and the cone. I think out of all my spin outs I don't think I tagged a cone.

My tires looked whooped after this event. I now need a new set of tires for my DD'ing. I just bought me some track wheels & tires....Now I need some DD's ! Sheez....too much cash.....I guess with 2 sets I should be able to extend the life of my DD's and have plenty of runs for the Track wheels.

Yeah umm, I'm not gonna be driving on R-comps.....I need to stay on street tires for the events so I can stay in the same class. One day tho I will get me some Hoosier's ! I know they are the bomb !

 

Looked like a fun time - wish I could've gone to either events. I was installing some new parts so I wasn't able to attend and I woke up at 4 pm today (and still no alignment), so no autox for me.

 

It was a bit wet out there today. We just did a half a dozen fun runs to knock down all the cones and called it a day.
