Ellington Airport invites you to the 4th Annual Aeros & Autos event on Saturday, May 12 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., to enjoy the best of both transportation worlds: airplanes and automobiles. And, new this year:
THE HOUSTON HALF MILE SHOOTOUT!

We will be opening our runway to some of the fastest cars in the city, state and country to see who has the fastest street machines out there.

Houston Half Mile Shootout

This will be Houston’s newest speed attraction for the adrenalin junkie. Bring your car out on the runway and see how fast you can go. This event will have limited registration. All information plus registration for the shootout can be found by visiting www.HoustonMile.com.

Car Show

Come participate in one of Houston’s premier car shows and get a photo of your vehicle with a military aircraft; a unique opportunity to have a once in a lifetime photo. Then, stay for awhile for a chance to win one of multiple trophies given to those elite automobiles that enters the show. Registration for the Car Show is $30 and is due on the day of the show only. The registration includes a 4x6 photo, goodie bag and event t-shirt.

Adults: $5 per person
Children 3 and under are free
Gates open at 9:00 a.m. and close at 4:00 p.m.
IMPORTANT CHANGE IN LOCATION & DIRECTIONS

AEROS & AUTOS will still be at Ellington Airport, but will change locations on airport property. The event will now use a rarely accessed - to the public - location, utilizing actual runways for the event. The entrance to the event will be off of Genoa Redbluff on the North Side of Ellington Airport.

Take Beltway 8 to Genoa Redbluff Rd., Turn to the East and go approximately 1/4 mile to Farely Rd. Turn Right and the Event Entrance will be at the tend of the road. Tip: Add Google Map link for 6011 Farley Road, 77034.
