Aug 18: SCCA Texas Region Solo Event #6
Is anyone going to this event?

I'm thinking about going as a spectator.

David, almost all Zs are classed CS, STR, or BSP depending on your modification. It looks like you registered for CSP.
I'm going to be in STR so I can fight some good competition. We're technically not supposed to be in STU yet and I don't have magnets for STU anyway.

Whoops, I registered wrong. I'm supposed to be BSP, stupid flywheel!
The flywheel bumps me to SP, I assumed i would stay in the C class.

Your wheels/tires alone bump you out of CS, lol.
Honestly, it really doesn't matter what you class yourself. As long as you're not winning trophies nobody's going to complain you're in the wrong class.
On another note, it's really cool to see a new guy really get into autox right away. With a few events under your belt, you might even become faster than Patrick.

In my introduction thread I talked about an S13 that I never got onto a track. I'm not making that mistake again. Pushing a car and myself to the limits has been a dream for nearly a decade. Ever since Gran Tourismo 3, LOL!
On a side note, I almost beat Dusty last week, if only I had not clipped that silly cone.

Yeah, I got lucky, wheels came with 275/35 Direzza Z1 Star Spec. I hope they last a while, because it will take real money to better them.
My run comes with an Asterisk too, I had Scott navigation!
Seriously though, who else is going to register? I can't be only Nissan showing up!

I will hopefully have RS-3s on next time (rears came in today), so I'll just have to use stock suspension as the excuse then..

Just rub it in You did great for the first time out, we'll stay pretty competitive as you improve and I get stickier tires - or you'll blow right on by me (likely).
