Anyone else going? I don't know that there is alot coming out this year that's worth going to look at, but they always have fun stuff for the kids, and according to the website, the Mercedes McLaren SLR is going to be there. I'd like to see that one in person. I'm also curious if Nissan will have an '05 Track or if Chevy will have a Z06 Vette there.

I'm going on Jan. 1st. if anyone else is going, maybe we can meet up at the Nissan booth just to say hi!

 

I want to go but i think I will be too tired on January 1st after getting back from DC. I'd be down for going another time. I went last year for the first time in many years and it was pretty cool.

 

The DC Auto Show is not an important enough show to officially unveil a new car. That'll be reserved for the Detroit show most likely...

 

The show was ok - Infiniti is located right beside the main entrance, and Nissan adjacent to it has a decent space featuring a 350z with some Nismo trim (I don't think it was the 05 track, but I could be wrong) and an Altima SE-R. In the Chevy areas, they only had regular Vette's - no Z06. When you're done with what seems to be the main exhibit floor, go downstairs to see the other half of the show. I made the mistake of thinking the main exhibit hall was all there was and went home disappointed. Have fun and hope you score some good freebies.

Last year they had a murcielago and some other exotics which i thought was really cool. I never see those where i live. The DC auto show does suck compared to most of the other ones though. I'd love to go to the detroit auto show once

 

my dad is one of the guys that runs the nissan booth so im gonna be up there a few times this year, so post when you want to go. if you guys are going january 1st then i will go up that day too.

 

do we think it is worthwhile to go? granted i work a couple blocks from where it is located, but is it worth our time? i am down if people say yes.

 

yeah, they have some interesting stuff i think or they did last year. Its worth it to go down and take some pictures and look around, its not an all day thing either. Maybe 2 hours to walk around and look at everything i think.
