nice compilation. i'd like to see more of the driving portions, car sounds very nice. that one night recording at the track was a little blurry, but the position you have your camera is the best spot IMO(in car)- how did you rig that up? you pulled away at speed from that other Z like a mad man- nice!

 

Nice job Ben. Hey, I noticed that you have listed "upgraded intercooler". What exactly is that? I asked ATI about it and they say they don't have an "upgraded" intercooler for me. They said they sell a larger one (3 core?) but they don't guarantee it'll fit my car and that it won't benefit me at all unless I go beyond 500 WHP.

What can you (or any of the guys at AAM) tell me about this?

atadlo - i got this custom in car camera mount from a user on 350frenzy.com actually is very nice, im in the market to buy another for Z-days the next camera mount i buy is going to be outside of the car btw... should be able to get some nice video footage from that

Dr Bonz - yeah sorry for the confusion i beleive my intercooler is the 3 core intercooler from procharger...it just barely fits im telling you...ill try and take some pics though for you to compare to yours, post a pic of your intercooler if u could i would like to compare the size...

yeah mines larger than that i beleive from what i can see...mine cover the horns and everything...from what i recall mine almost fills the entire front grill...ill get a pic up soon though for you to compare

Nice video I liked it. Do you have any more information on who sells that camera mount? I am very intereted in that. It seems to me like your auto shifts faster than others Ive seen. Do you have any VB work? I thought you were going for the sleeper look, and it would be if it wasnt for that big a$$ Procharger sticker on your windshield, lol. Anyways nice vid, nice car, and sweet launch on street tires.

lemme see if i can dip up the guy, i dunno if he is still around or what i haven't been on 350zfrenzy.com is ever....no i dont have any VB work as of yet, this summer maybe...hahaha yeah that procharger sticker is kinda big...oh well though, most people see the car from a side anyways, and when we race most only see the rear of the car ill find that camera mount guy for you, asap

jtree007 is the guy on 350zfrenzy.com that made the camera mount for me...its great quality as u can see and very affordable...im in the market for another camera mount for my car though...looking to put the camera outside the Z we will see though...i haven't talked to him in ages but shoot him a PM on there and see if he still makes them, best of luck!

Ben. How much is the larger intercooler and how much do you think it would be to install?

Is what ATI told me valid? They said that the smaller one I have is fine up to 500 WHP and that if I didn't go beyond that, I wouldn't see any gains from going to the larger intercooler. That doesn't sound right to me.

 

here the pic of my intercooler, im not sure on pricing for the intercooler, but the install is pretty simple once you have the intercooler yourself, only simple tools are necesary...
