Well, I was 213 pounds at 6'4" tall when I left the military. So I guess I'm really calling you fat AND short, but only in relation to my uniform, which I wouldn't fit into anymore either You're just short in relation to me.

We need to get ahold of Sly and David. If those guys can make it, that gets us at least one set of RWB cars. Sly is ex-military (Air Force, I believe), so he may be down for this one. I don't know any other PPW cars here in the area. Anyone else?

EDIT: Carlos is PPW!!! So we have two red, if we can get Sly and Carlos, we have two PPW, and if we can get David and Vin, we have two blue....I'm liking this!!!! Surround us with CS, SS and LS, and we're a mean show!

I just had a sick thought...don't flame me for this. Isn't Memorial Day to commemorate people who have died for this country in tragedy or war? Well, I know there are a lot of extremely patriotic veterans around here and they will be very weepy on Memorial Day. Some may have been involved or remember life during the attack on Pearl Harbor. Many dead could be buried in Arlington. Now here comes a bunch of Japanese sports cars parading around American flags. I want to just mention it, to be ultra respectful on this occasion. I know our hearts are in the right place. Like I said it was a sick thought, but I wanted to share it with you all to get your feelings.

Damn you're a party wrecker man!!! I guess I'll be rolling in my Ford Probe...Wait, that's really just a Mazda MX-6. I know, I'll drive my Dodge Stealth...Wait that's a Mitsubishi 3000....I've got it....I'll drive my Eagle Talon Tsi...Crap, that's a Mitsubishi eclipse. LOL

Seriously though, I see your point, but since probably better than half of the cars in the country are manufactured by Japanese companies, I doubt any of the elders would be so sensitive as to draw this parallel these days. I think they'll be more impressed that a bunch of young folks cared enough to come out and pay our respects rather than just sitting home enjoying the day off.

Well said Kelly. Just was a thought...it would be twisted to see someone actually get upset over it. I wanted to throw it out there, just how ironic. I guess it could also show the resilience of Americans. I'm not a history buff by any means, but I guess 99% of the people have accepted japanese quality. The 1% left I would think are the ones bitter about past wars and such. Ok, no more of this talk from me. I wish I could be out there with you guys on the drive!
