I need to get a before and after dyno done this thursday...i contacted Altered Atmoshphere and they want $85 for two pulls...that means $170 once i have my second dyno after my mods are installed...
are there any other shops in the area that can do the dyno? 170 is a little steep...
i have an appt to get my mods installed at 10am...i should be out by 3 so the before and after dyno needs to occur say 9 and 4-5...thanks in advance..

What mods are you doing ?

You could try ultimate perfom but they are the same price. Its pretty standard actually. Just go to AAM, they'll take good care of ya ..

 

If you can wait til Saturday, Agile Auto is offering 3 pulls for $45 on the dynopak. Its been a while since I checked with them so I dont know if its still good

i'm not sure if i can wait till sat...i'd like to get it done within 24hrs once my mods are on to eliminate potenial other variables...hmmmmm, decision, decision...i guess i'll have to decide if it's worth doing the second dyno session the same day or waiting till sat...

 

I dont think the dynopak and dynojet are the same type of dyno.. Looks like AAM for you.

If you're trying to get baseline and mod added power. You are going to have a hard time doing one pull then another day doing another. You should really do a session and wait a couple of days and do another session. You can't eliminate that many variables in a 24 hour period. No two days are alike for your car or the dyno. They're close, but almost as close as a week. Good luck...also search this thread for dyno, there have been several posts in the last months about deals.

 

StarcraftBW- damn, so you're the one with the 11 o'clock slot...lol...i wish i could meet up with u there but i found a place in damascus called Main Street Speed..it's $35 a pull, not much difference but pretty close to where i'm located....

 

I always dyno at SRT near college park. $60 for 3 pulls on a dynojet with a/f, much cheaper than AA, and the guys there are chill as can be....stop by if you want to check out some crazy 700+whp IS300's....last time I went the owner was almost finished building his newest beast, a 1000whp turbo only IS300.

 

darn....My friend has an IS300, and i am pretty sure he wants to see it ....I already scheduled for the reflash so I just want to get it done at one time ...so what is the address again? I'll take my car there next time.
