Default Life's in the Details :)

While I'm sure most people here are content with spending $100 bucks on stuff that starts with a Z ..

Here is a thread that shows how cheaper alternitives can produce great results.

... BTW .. Kelly has witnessed the power of Meguiar's show glaze..

True, I used to be a Meguairs fan and I still am just not for my Z. Meguiars just doesn't have durability, a week or two later and the wax was gone.

My Z already has a garage and it doesn't see rain or a cloudy day either but I it still didn't last.
I think that the $86 Zaino kit that has everything you'll need would probably last for a couple years depending on how often you apply it. But if you are like me and many others who like to keep putting coats on it can cost a bit more. It think it's well worth it. Just my $.02

What's up Man of steele?

Mike is Meguiar's Sponsored. He is just doing his job.

I've used Meguiar' gold glass on my wife's truck (blk) and the finish is amazing. Best pep boys/autozone type prodcut I have seen.

Never tried Zaino but after two yrs of hearing Dr. Bonz and others praise it I may have to give it a try. My wife is going to kill me though. I can usually get meguiar's at target on clearance for $3. $86 ..... I know I will hear about that one

I have to admit, that Glaze is some good stuff. Of course, I should mention that we put two coats of Zaino on top of it prior to the Falls Church H.S. Show. I noticed that I still have some issues to work out on my hood. Not sure where to go with that....

Well.. I definatly did not start this thread to make a Zaino V <insert your brand here> war. I believe that most products out there if properly applied over time will give you great results.

+1. I used to be a Zymol advocate with my RX-7 (also red), and it did great stuff for that paint even though the car was 6 or 7 years old. It seems that most polishes and waxes will do the trick, it all comes down to personal preference.
