Default bronco ran over my Z!

Well much like Juan, but for different reasons, I'm getting a new front end. A jackarse driving a bronco without brakes lost control and ran over the z's front end. I know for a fact I'll need the front bumber, hood, front fender, lights, and other shiet replaced. He pretty much fuked up my car. fortunately it appears to be only cosmetic damage, but you never know. Wish I had some pics. I'll try to get some posted later tonight.

can you say veilside and carbon fiber hood

well folks I was going to post pics but the body shop already tore into the car to put together an estimate. Good news (I guess) is that the hood is not damaged, therefore no cf hood yet. And, I was going to be nice to Solrac and go with cf veilside v1 lip and "side wings" instead of the greddy kit, but no one has them in stock ...oh well guess I'll just have to wait till July. The Z will look a little different though...no sandblasted front bumper and I'm having them do without the darn front license plate holder. You'll see me running around in about 2 weeks.

Thanks Mike. The story is worse for the dude that hit me. He just got his license back on Monday off of a 2 year dui suspension. Filed sr22 on Tue and got high risk insurance obviously. On Wed he hit me. Thursday his insurance dropped him and due to the sr22 his license was suspended indefinitely. He's 22 years old and might never drive legally again. Oh yeah did I mention it really was an accident. His brake lines blew out and my car was unfortunately in the way. Shiet happens I guess.

You would hope there is enough logic in the system for him to demonstrate to the powers that be that the accident was due to mechanical failure not driver error. Something like that should not cost the young man his license.

I second that. His insurance agent called me and I was trying to plead a case in his defense, but that was kinda hard to do seeing that I still needed demonstrate their responsibility to fix my car.
