Default Spare cats... anyone?

Just wondering if anyone has a spare set of cats / test pipes sitting around? I need a set for diagnostic purposes and for some stupid reason didn't keep my stock cats when the ultimate racing HF's when on. I think my U/R's have fallen apart inside, thus why i'm getting high-pitched rattling all the time, but I need another set of cats or cat replacements to test.

If anyone wants to just come over and hang out and have a beer or two (hell, we could grill at my place next weekend), and we can swap them out real quick to test and see, that'd be cool too...

I just want to put the issue to rest so I can figure out how to get rid of that noise! (Also want to see how loud/raspy test pipes will be with my setup).

If you've got any for sale, that'd be cool too (obviously, i'd rather test it first to make sure that's the problem, but if i've got to buy to try, i guess i'm o.k. with that).

thanks in advance,
-nick

either -- if i could borrow them for a bit that would be awesome

(just need to swap something with them to make 100% positive that it's my U/R cats making the noise and not the heatshielding or tranny, or something completely different)

if it is the U/R cats, i'll have to sit down and start thinking about what I want to replace them with (or if I can get them warranty replaced? i seriously doubt that, though...)

awesome

i work up @ ft. monroe (just on the other side of HRBT) -- it doesn't look like i've got much going on this weekend. if you want to drop me a PM and let me know what the most opportune time might be to come and pick them up would be, that would be great -- should only need 'em for a couple hours (10 min. swap each way, a couple minutes of testing, and travel time).

thanks again!

thank you very much for the use of your stock cats -- ended up not being necessary.

yet again, the morons / lard-asses at Pomoco strike again... when they put on the cats, they decided that the top bolt on the drivers side cat was not necessary... either that or they were too lazy to put it on.

at any rate, cranked that one down, and hit the passenger side one with a spot of flux and i'm good to go and noise free (well, other than the LSD, lol)

if you want to drop me a line this week and let me know when you'll be aboot, i'll stop by norfolk and drop the stockers off

thanks again!

oh, and i can't remember who was worried about the Ultimate Racing cats falling apart on the inside -- don't worry, false alarm, they're still awesome
