Default w00t! got my console back

paint looks pretty good... there are some drips and imperfections but for $50 I can't complain. Can't wait to install it!

Looks awesome! Do you think your friend could hook me up with the same treatment? By the way I like the empty bottles of SoCo and Barcardi in the background.

I'm not sure what he would charge you... he did mine as a favor. I think materials probably cost more than $50. I will ask though.

I'm curious how they do this? Do they have to strip the bumpy, plastic covering off before they paint, or are they filling and painting over the whole thing? In any case, it looks great! Make sure we get pics on the car, k?

actually I did all the prep work. I will post a comprehensive description of how I did it complete w/ progress pics after I install it tonight. But short answer is yes, the texture needs to be sanded down.

NOPE, but Mr. Jack Daniels was quite helpful. He and I always seem to have a great time no matter what we are doing.

Jack and I had a fight when I was younger where he severely kicked my @ss, but now that I'm older and wiser he and I get along very well. Jack on the rocks is my drink of choice these days - no wonder my memory gets a bit hazy
