If anyone is a fan like me, I've got the movie, subbed, and burned on DVD. But I'm going to edit the subs some more and make menus, etc for it. Lemme know if you're interested. Maybe we can get together and all watch it? It's AWESOME. Way better than any American racing movie that will ever be made.

It's a pretty huge file with the subs merged lol 1.5 gb about...
The original file is 600mb with subtitles in a separate file. You'd just have to configure a player with that.

I watched it a few days ago. Worst movie ever.....

I think the life action movie story line is much better than the original manga. All the character in the movie is more believable and realistic. Bunta is a abusive drunk father and he and Yuuichi are dirty old man. The movie also gives initial D geeks something different to watch instead of an exact remake of the anime. Also people never seen or hear Initial D will be able to watch it and understand the story.

 

Its worth the download.

 

The original dvd box set has subtitles and is in japanese.
