Hey all....after the last event, we learned that parking at my house can really only support about 15 cars, so at this point, the event is getting pretty full. If you currently are on the list and you find out that you will NOT be able to attend, please post here or let me know so that we can open the spot for someone else. Let's assume that we have room for, say 4 more cars on the list. There will always be a few folks who'll have something come up at the last minute, so we'll overbook by just a few cars. When the number hits 20, that'll close it out. We'll play the classic "Fast and the Furious" on the 94" screen again, or fire up a racing game on the PS2 or something for folks that want to get out of the sun for a bit....Hoping that since it's October it'll be a little cooler than the last one.
We'll be providing burgers, dogs, chips and soda for people too, so come hungry.

I can go, and I may bring 1 more with me if there is room.

Yep, just show up at said address (which will be posted up with directions shortly). You and your buddy are welcome to come (he has a Z also, yes?) The only thing I'd ask is that since a) parking is limited and b) Meguiars is sponsoring the event and giving products away, and c) we're providing food for people, if you find out that you can't come, PLEASE let me us know ASAP by posting here so we can open up your slot(s) for other folks. Thanks!

Hey Kelley, whats up? I met you at the Chik parking lot the other week (red Eclipse). Do you know where I can find some Crystal Guard around here? I know I can order it, but I don't feel like waiting.

You can also take some time in the detailing forum to see what paint care products people are using these days. There are several really good ones out there:
Zaino, a chemical based polymer product boasting 99.9% optical clarity with several different applications from swirl-remover to polish to detail spray to car wash soap. Zaino is expensive, but it's good stuff.
Meguiar's, also a chemical based polymer. Has similar applications to Zaino, but is WAY more affordable. Produces (IMO) the same results as Zaino, but is reported to not last quite as long. Meguiars products are available in many local auto-parts retail stores like Pep-boys and Advanced Auto Parts. If you don't mind applying polish a little more frequently, Meguiar's is the way to go based on results/cost.
I have NO exposure to Crystal Guard, so I can't speak on its' behalf.
If you come out to the Fall Detail Day, you'll get some free Meguiars products, as our very own Mike Delacruz (mdracer76) is sponsored by Meguiars and for the second event in a row worked his magic with his sponsor to supply goods for all the attendees. Post up in the thread if you can make it out....It should be a good time.
Yo Kelly, are we supposed to show up with our detailing kit, I mean carry car wash, wax and all other paraphernalia with us. Is meguiars going to provide stuff to detail too?
I'll have some goodies for you guys from Meguiars... but you can bring anything that you want. I def. would recomend that you come to kelly's with a CLEAN CAR... with this many cars .. there is no way that we can wash and detail all of them
