Hey all, I had a blast. Thanks Kelly for hosting the event again.

Just FYI for those folks that grabbed samples, that pinkish liquid is called Meguiar's Last Touch, it's part #D-155. Here's the description of it:
Last Touch Spray Detailer
Meguiar's Last Touch Spray Detailer produces incredible depth, shine and gloss. This spray-on, wipe-off product has a unique blend of polymeric lubricating agents that gently removes dust, fingerprints, smudges and other contaminants, leaving a flawless, showroom shine.

Default Cleaning the interior door panels???

What works the best for detailing the interior of the door panels. That dark interior on the doors looks awful in the sun with the top down!

For those that made it out, thanks for coming, it was a good time. Glad you could come. Bob and Mike, thanks for the training and all your hardwork. You guys were some real workhorses today.

For those that were on the list but decided not to come out to this "space limited" event, a) you missed a fun, educational time, b) you missed a nice "head-turning" drive to a local park for some great photos, c) I bought food for you because you said you were coming. Real nice.

Pics will follow shortly...We got some great shots!

Kelly...thank you to you and your family for being such great hosts. It was a great event even if the turnout was a bit low, the photos should be nice, I need a new wallpaper. Again, thank you to everyone....

I just wanted to throw in my Thanks to Kelly and his Family for so generously hosting and feeding us..

Mike, Bob, thanks for the educational day and all of the hard work you guys put in showing us how to better take care of our precious rides Even better, checking out our scratches and showing us how they can be fixed and helping us work them out. We all feel a lot better knowing those horrible gashes in our paint are in fact mostly repairable …. Thank the good Car lord…

Had a great time and it was great to see a number of Roadsters out there this time ..... YEA!

Thanks Kelly for hosting, Mike for the free swag, and Bob for the priceless detailing brain food. It's all very much appreciated by all of us.

Thanks to everyone else for hanging out, and for everyone who helped me on my car. I was damn proud to have the cleanest black 350Z on the planet for the next 30 minutes.

Suggestion for next time, a DUST FREE parking lot

If they are just dusty, you can first try a damp cloth to wipe them down. It's free and will give you an idea of the dirt level. I have heard that the door trim on 350Z's is pretty particular and it's easy to get uneven or streaking application from most products. If the door is not particularly dirty, then a product like Meguiar's Quick Interior Detailer will have more cleaning action than water, but should not streak or really add any shine to the material.

If they are dirty to where this doesn't cut it, well then you need to make a judgement call. You can try an all-purpose cleaner that is very diluted, there are a million kinds of APC's (things like Simple Green, Castrol makes one, there is some other common purple one). I would use it very diluted, and spray it on a wet cloth to further dilute it, and see if that helps in the bad spots. Meguiar's also makes a product called #39 Vinyl and Rubber Cleaner. It is a fairly strong product and I would spray this on a wet cloth to dilute it also.

If you have a specific type of problem, post more details, or feel free to PM me or anyone else.
