ha ha....yeah, I'm concerned we're going to run out of parking spaces. When we do this in the spring, we're gonna have to find a place with covered parking and access to hoses and electricity.

Jason/Chris, we're really tapped out on parking spaces...I've already gotten one or two neighbors to give up their driveways and we're still gonna be tight. If you come out, I may need to ask you to park just around the corner from my place. Your cars will be completely safe as you can still see them from the street, you'll just be away from the party a little bit (and I mean like only 100 feet or so)

Below are directions to the house.....It's important that you FOLLOW the directions. You will see roads that are in the directions BEFORE you are supposed to turn on them. Do this and you will get lost. Don't try to take shortcuts...just stick to the directions.

From MD: Take 495 to 193/Georgetown Pike. GT Pike T's at Rte7 (and it's a great drive, too). Take Rte7 West a few miles up to Countryside Blvd (You will cross FFX county pkwy, Cascades pkwy and pass a strip mall with a Borders books etc on your right and there is a car wash just before the intersection. If you hit Rte28, you've gone too far by about 1/2 mile.) Take a right at Countryside Blvd. See Residential Directions below for remainder of directions

From Points south:

1. You can take FFX Parkway north to Rte7, Take Rte7 West a few miles up to Countryside Blvd (You will cross Cascades pkwy and a strip mall with a Borders books etc on your right and there is a car wash just before the intersection. From points West:
Take Rte7 East, take a left on Countryside Blvd, which is the first light past Rte 28...Follow Residential Directions below.....

RESIDENTIAL DIRECTIONS

Countryside Blvd T's at Algonkian parkway. Take a right on Algonkian Parkway. Take your second left on McPherson (The first left is McPherson also, it's a loop, so don't let it fool you). Take your 3rd right onto McCarty, and your first right onto Darian. We're up at the end of the cul-de-sac on the left side. House #13. It's a kid-filled neighborhood with blind spots due to street parking so please keep your speed down.


The house # is 703.444.2631 if you get lost.

 

Here's the Updated Tally....And I want to set the expectation level for you guys....With this many cars showing up, only a few cars will be able to get acccess to the orbital buffer and stuff in the garage during the course of the day. Make it a point to at least watch someone elses car getting worked on, you'll learn something for sure. It's supposed to be a cool day, so plan on bringing enough of your own towels, applicators, etc. to be able work on your own on your car when you're not eating a burger or hangin' out. I know we have some vegetarians in the group, so we'll have some salad and other appropriate foods as well.

The final count....The event is seriously maxed out and parking is gonna be really interesting...I really can't support anyone else coming out for fear of pissing off my neighbors (who are all pretty cool, but I don't want to push it). I hope everyone can stay long enough to pose for the group picture...This will be a big event!!!
