I think Steve@Evolution is planning on an another Evolution Meet. Maybe I'll just wait for him to post up here.

 

alot of us actually go to these meets every month, turn out is amazing, ill see if we all can meet up somehwere and go from there....but isn't it the 1st saturday or friday of the month?

Sorry to bring this from the dead....

Wanted to let you Z owners know that I am now a part of this site (thanks to Mike w/ the Meguiars 350Z for telling me know about it) and I can answer any questions that you might have about the Mid Atlantic MEGA MEET.

The MEGA MEET is held the 1st Saturday of the month starting at 7:30pm and going until 11:00pm.

*Our September MEGA MEET will not be held at the VDOT Lot. Instead, it will be held on the 11th at Maryland International Raceway (MIR)! We are now partners with DC SPEED in the IMSTAR World Import Series at MIR. This year it is scheduled to be held on Sunday, September 11th, 2005. Gates open at 10:00am, eliminations are at 2:00pm, and the awards ceremony is at 4:30pm. Admission is $20.00 and you can get $5 off at the gate when you bring one of the IMSTAR flyers. The Mid Atlantic MEGA MEET will be back at the VDOT lot on October 1st and November 5th. We will then be closing down the MEGA MEET lot down for the winter months and re-opening it back up either March or April of 2006.

I've been going to the meet since they were being held in Fairfax. It's an awesome turnout, I believe it gets to like 700+ cars. Not that many Z's showed up to the last one though, I think it was only like 6 at the most. Other meets had more Z's. The one at MIR this month should be packed, but I won't be there. Sucks too... I was supposed to race my wife for the first time (her with the Z and me in my Eclipse). Oh well. The meet is definately worth checking out. And that Meguiars Z is HOT. What wheels are those? I want them.

 

well my friends backed out,but i'm still going,bringing the g/f...anyone wanna meet up by my way and drive down??

 

I am pretty sure they are Volks but will call mike and tell him to get on here and let us know what wheels they are but here is an incredible pic of it from one of the MEGA MEETS....

I wonder how much shipping is from Japan... One of my neighbors is heading over there in two weeks... getting stationed in Okinawa. I know the wheels are like 58,000 yen (about $527 a piece for the 18"x10"). If shipping won't kill me, I'll see if they can send them. Thanks for the info.
