I vote for Oct 16th, then 23. Can not make the 29/30th.... Birthday activities in the family.

Damn straight.... we get to learn how to properly car of our cars from the 'experts'... then we trash them on Sunday giving us the perfect excuse to use the new products and lessons learned from the Day before....

OK I will make the decision of making the date of the drive the 29th. davidv is right, a date needs to be set, some people will make, and some won't. I chose the 29th for several reasons. One, it'll give everyone plenty of time to reserve that date, i.e. take off work. Two, the 16th is too soon, and I doubt everyone who originally signed up for this drive has seen this thread, so the turnout might be low. And three, most importantly, I'll be out of town this weekend. I'll start a new thread with the new date and a new sign up list.

For everyone who can't make it on the 29th, sorry, but it's not my fault it rained last Saturday.

 

Fair enough Jess. Either call was a reasonable one. Unfortunately, I will not be able to make either date because I have a personal commitment on the 16th and my car will be in NC on the 29th.

I have a suggestion...Davidv, you never specified a preference, but maybe you could "host" the drive on the 16th for the 8 or 10 cars that wanted to go? Then Jess, you could lead the drive for the folks on the 29th. There may even be a small handful of folks that would go on both drives, you never know. If Davidv can't do the 16th, is there anyone who voted for that date that would be willing to put a route together and take point? Just thinking out loud!
