Hope ya have fun at the Drive if you go. If i was in VA or even MD I'd go in the rain, but I have a 3 hour drive or so to Manassas.

 

If it's raining on Saturday, I'm out. I want to enjoy the drive on a clear sunny day.

You guys see my post number, that's not a good sign for me

 

Greetings Winchester! Yes, the drive is still on, the meeting time is 11:00 and the McDonalds off exit 47A in Manassas is the place. As the day gets closer, keep an eye out here for a weather call. If it's pouring, enough people will drop out that it won't be worth holding a "formal" drive", so it's usually a last minute call.

 

I hope it is clear, because the Roadster just isn't as much fun with the top up. Thanks, and I hope to see everyone on Saturday.

Man, it rains everytime we have a meet, sucks. I am not sure I am going to come out if its going to rain hard.

It's not worth a wrecked Z IMO...

If the Z gets away AT ALL on skyline you could do some major damage. They aren't just guardrails, they are HUGE STONE WALLS and relatively close to the roadside.

should we reschule it for 2 weeks from now? I.E. the weekend after next (Detail day is next weekend)

This was supposed to be a scenic drive with lots of stops for pictures and enjoying the view...hard to do in the rain when you're driving in someone's road-wash for several hours...My car may be going to N.C. the weekend of the 21st for..uh..stuff. I may be out for this drive unless the group votes for a November rain-date......

Alright, so basically a third of the group has voted to reschedule....Let's do that in the interest of keeping everyone safe, dry and in one piece. If you're thinking, "You bunch of wussies....LET'S DRIVE", by all means proceed at your own risk.

The following weekend (Nov 12/13) is available as well, however a bunch of us are heading for Richmond for SuperTuner...

Saturday, November 5th is the last Mega Meet of the season .. so I think that we should remove that date :P
