www.nasaracing.net is hosting track days and a lot of races during that weekend at www.virclub.com

Here's a list of what's going on:
VIR will have well over 300 cars along with the following going on (on all 3 days from 8am to 6pm):

Sprint Races (short 20 min races with standing starts and rolling starts)
Enduro Races on Sunday (3 hour races with pitting and driver switching)
Practice Sessions
Qualifying Sessions

High Performance Driving Class Level 1 (complete n00bs who are starting to learn how to drive at the track)
High Performance Driving Class Level 2 (intermediate drivers who are trying to learn more advanced techniques)
High Performance Driving Class Level 3 (advanced drivers who can run without an instructor and knows how to control the car)
High Performance Driving Class Level 4 (racers, instructors, and veteran track drivers wanting to fine tune their driving)
Instructor Clinic Classes and Testing
Race License Testing (NASA liscense, similar to a Gran Turismo B-License and A-License combined)
Open Track Practice (for qualified level 3 and 4 drivers)
Test and Tune Sessions
Touring Laps

Autocrossing / Time Trials
Drifting Practice

Post Race Party on Saturday
Trophies and Awards Ceremonies


Here's some info on the time trials/autox/drifting events going on at the Patriot track at VIR that weekend:
Saturday February 18th 2006:
7:00AM Registration/Tech Inspections
8:00AM Mandatory Driver's Meeting
8:30AM Drift Session A
9:30AM Drift Session B
10:30AM Time Trial First Session
12:30PM Lunch/fun laps/etc...
1:30PM Drift Session A
2:30PM Drift Session B
3:30PM Time Trial Second Session
5:30PM All Sessions Over

Sunday February 19th 2006:
7:00AM Registration/Tech Inspections

8:30AM Drift Session A
9:30AM Drift Session B
10:30AM Drift Session A
11:30AM Drift Session B

Just got some info on my schedule for the weekend:
Thursday:
5:30pm - 9:30pm = Tech Inspection

Friday:
7:45am - 8:00am = ALL Driver's Meeting
8:10am - 8:55am = Instructor's Class #1
9:25am - 10:00am = Instructor Track Practice session #1
10:05am - 10:50am = Instructor's Class #2
11:05am -11:40am = Instructor's Track Practice session #2
11:55am - 12:35pm = Instructor's Class #3
12:20pm - 1:05pm = Lunch
1:05pm - 1:55pm = Instructor Track Practice session #3
2:25pm - 3:00pm = Instructor Track Practice session #4
3:15pm - 3:55pm = Instructor's Class #4
4:15pm - 4:50pm = Instructor's Track Practice session #4
5:00pm - 5:30pm = Instructor's Class #5
(155 minutes on the track, 225 minutes of classroom)

Saturday:
7:45am - 8:00am = ALL Driver's Meeting
8:00am - 8:30am = Instructor's Meeting
9:30am - 10:05am = Level 3 track session #1 (ride alongs should be allowed)
10:15am - 11:00am = Level 3 class session #1
11:40am - 12:30pm = Touring Laps / Lunch
1:20pm - 1:55pm = Level 3 track session #2 (ride alongs should be allowed)
2:15pm - 3:00pm = Level 3 class session #2
4:20pm - 4:50pm = Levle 3 track session #3 (ride alongs should be allowed)
6:15pm - whenever = REJEX YEAR-END NASA PARTY (all are welcome)
(100 to 150 minutes on the track, 90 minutes of classroom)
[not sure if I will be instructing other drivers in between my sessions, but I might be busy running around]

Sunday:
7:45am - 8:00am = ALL Driver's Meeting
8:00am - 8:30am = Instructor's Meeting
8:55am - 9:20am = Level 3 track session #1 (ride alongs should be allowed)
9:30am - 10:00am = Level 3 class session #1
10:20am - 10:40am = Level 3 track session #2 (ride alongs should be allowed)
11:30am - 12:00pm = Level 3 class session #2
11:00am - 12:00pm = Touring Laps / Lunch
12:50pm - 1:10pm = Level 3 track session #3 (ride alongs should be allowed)
2:00pm - 5:25pm = Enduro Race (pit crew for Salazar Racing)
(65 to 80 minutes on the track, 60 minutes of classroom)
[not sure if I will be instructing other drivers in between my sessions of the Saturday students]

it was snowing. guess he put it into a guard rail somewhere. i saw it getting towed back and the bumper was messed up pretty badly.

I was there in the Silverstone track model in group 2. I had a lot of fun even in the snow surprisingly. The new Azenis did very well in the wet.

Were you in the other Z in group 2?
