Alberto,
I will make sure I pay more attention to my shifting next time. Up to this point, I have been concentrating on not hitting the jersey walls or the car next to me…

Alright, looking at my Dyno sheet it makes sense. My power band peaks around 6200 and starts to drop right around 6500rpm. I will just have to pay more attention next time.

Yea, I pass on the burnout and when the guy in front is clear and they signal to move forward, I drop and spin real hard to the tree… then wait until I get the go-ahead to pull up to stage.

Well, if I have paid attention here and also do so on the track, hopefully I can get my time down to mid 12’s. Then maybe in to the upper 11’s with some good driving and the new wider/stickier DR’s..?

As for the stock block, that is going soon…. SHHH it’s a secret! Maybe 20 psi will help get my times down huh… Just joking. I know the best way to safely get my times down is to learn how to better drive/handle the car. Just throwing HP at the problem is not the way to go.

Thanks again for everything and I will use this knowledge in a few weeks at a local track here in FL. See what #’s an out-of-towner can pull here.

On DR's and a low 1.8 60ft your car should go 11's, but then the shifting has to be there. I think for now, low 12's on street tires should be your initial goal. With that your trap will get to where it should be-120+mph....good luck.
