ahhhh I hate to say this but I think you should pull my name off running the list also. I broke another bone in my finger at a martial arts class, and with two screwed up fingers I don't think I'll be able to shift well enough to make it worth it.

It may feel well enough by then, but I don't want anyone else to miss this chance in case it doesn't feel better

I'll probably still come out to watch, unless that makes me more angry that I can't run!

Just basic bolt-ons, I haven't seen it run lately but last season IIRC it was trapping over 100 (dont remember exactly how many MPH over, but definitely over).

Alright, you've convinced me... I will be spraying Friday, just so I can feel like I am in the nawz club.

 

so far the weather looks ok,a 50% chance of thunderstorms.that is typical weather for summer time in md,most of the time you never see it though.i cant wait to turn low 13,s in my heavy *** g.i will bet that a few na z,s will beat me.but have to remember weight kills and the g coupe is the porker of all the z,s and g,s esp with a 5at.

You can take my boy Chad off the list... I don't know if any of you have been up to Capital this past week, but if so, the white Cobra up there is his... busted axle. The GTO is still good I think.

Hey Brent, I was wondering if there's space for Phil from Element Tuning to come out and run his WRX.. I know we have a non-Z wait list, but he's a definite because he wants to fine-tune the car to hit 600whp mark (he only hit 585 at Altered's Dyno today without the laughing gas).

Could you let me know via PM or on this thread? Phil and I are definites and are willing to pay the $75 fee if you could squeeze us in. Do you happen to know what your DEFINITE count is? It's hard to tell who's REALLY in and who's not.

Btw, because of the weather, upper 80s is good for the traction, so I dont think you guys should have problems at MIR for the launch since they do such a good job prepping the surface. Drag slicks or not, just have a good reaction time and feel the car out, there's grip on that strip.

Thanks Brent for all the initial setup. Should we show up at MIR AT 9 or is everyone meeting or just driving by themselves down there?

 

Hey man, I understand Chad had to withdrawal, so Phil can take his place. I will post the updated list tomorrow morning.

The Non-Z list is a definite list now. Everyone on the last list is OK to come. As for a definite confirmed list.... So far I only appear to have interest by about 10 Z guys and about 7 others, but like most things having a definite count is pretty difficult.

I would say given that, anyone that is on the list or had talked to me is welcome to join us. I have had 2 guys cancel today and now 2 guys want to join. SO it looks like a good wash for me. Say about 25 people.

I am going to do my best to be there by 9. If anyone shows up before me, just tell them you are with me. We will not be able to run until I pay the fee, I can hand out the stickers and we go through TECH I think. as for convoys, there are some threads in the Mid-A section regarding that.

I also want to confirm we will have a couple of grills and I believe 3 people are bringing burgers/dogs. Take a look at the food list and feel free to add anything you might think would be useful.

I look forward to seeing everyone Friday. Please remember to bring cash for the fee and any race gas you might want to use.
