btw, the TXS RFL turboback isnt that loud, I had something even louder than that You should get Turbo Trix to replace your muffler section with a straight 3" pipe.. that will help out some (both loudness and flow).. I think the TXS exhausts are all tapered designs..
It was the shifter/clutch linkage... just came right off on my last run. Luckily none of the pieces fell on the track.

The RFL is not tapered at all. I measured it from the muffler to the top of the downpipe. It is 100% 3"... a Coke can fits in both sides with room to spare. There's no reducers anywhere in it. And of course there's louder... but that takes no mufflers to accomplish. For having 2 mufflers, it's loud as all hell, but only at WOT... which is a good thing considering I don't want attention from The Suck (FCPD).

P.S. I would LOVE to take a trip out to TTR... I just got $355 back for a transaction gone bad on Paypal so I'm thinking of taking a trip up there for a custom road/dyno tune.

Im not 100% sure, but I think the linkage may have bent or something. I forced it into gear a few times and it got smoother. Now it goes into gear like nothing happened, all is good now.

Summit Point no doubt..my neighbor has a new C6 and a Golf GTI and he said he runs consistant 3 seconds fasters in his Golf GTI due to corner exit speeds. Suspension and brakes are essential..also all should know that having a helmet is a must. And the Helmet must meet a certain saftey requirements. Please review the summit website for more details. July 7th sounds good to me for a FATT sessions

they have loaner helmets out there for a small $10 to $15 fee for the day.

M95 or SA95 and up are fine for helmet use.. dont use an M90 or SA90, they are too old..

SA95, SA2000, SA2005, M95, M2000, and M2005 are the ones you want to use. It must have a SNELL rating if you plan on using your own helmet, DOT approved doesnt count, you need that little SNELL approved rating sticker on the inside of the helmet with the rating that I stated for you to use on track.

As for track use, as long as you have tires that are about half tread, brake pads that are more than 1/2 left, nothing leaking out of the car, all parts are secure and tied/bolted down and the car emptied out, you are fine (you can even run on stock suspension, stock tires, stock brakes, and even stock seatbelts and stock seats)..

As for convertiables, you need some kind of roll bar (call BSR for specific details about that).. some cars are allowed to use their stock hoops, others cant.. best to call to make sure.. Long pants and long sleeve shirts are a must when IN the car and out on track.. you can take off your long shirt when you are in the pits.

Really? Are there other prerequisites for the stunt driving class? That's kinda the one I was serious about taking.

taking one of their high performance classes and car control classes helps.. you would have to call BSR to see if you actually need to take a class before hand..
