LOL. I race every Sunday. But so far no one has joined me. Maybe I should resign to the fact that no one likes me.

The rain stinks.

Also several first time racers have expressed interest, but I told them that Summit ET racing is not a good first choice. Test and tune would probably be better for a new racer.

hehehehje..

Rednecks have yet to figure out the the 350Z. When I spot a Muscle Car with slicks 0.5 seconds, the drivers are like What the hell do you have under the hood?

BTW last year Mason Dixon had a great Quick-8 Import class on Sundays. The bump was high enough for a 350Z to make it into the Quick-8. This year they moved the Quick-8 from Sunday to Friday. Very inconvenient for me.

David-Ill have axles on order sometime this week, after I install them Ill start going up to Cecil more to run with you-now that I wont have to worry about the weakpoint in my car breaking. Do you have any experience running on Saturday mornings?

Saturday at Cecil is Test & Tune. I do OK with 2 practice runs, then selecting a dial-in. So I don't go to Test & Tune.

1) Quick-8 Import class? – All cars get two practice runs. The fastest 8 cars are selected. Only those cars compete.

2) Test & tune? – Just for practice. There are no winners or losers.

3) What is Summit ET racing and why isn't isn't good for a track newb? – This is the most popular type of drag racing. It allows cars of differencing capabilities to compete. Lets say that I drive a 14.0 second 350Z, and you drive a 13.0 second car. At the starting line, you spot me 1.0 seconds: I get the green light 1.0 seconds before you do. First to cross the finish line wins. The looser is eliminated. In the first round half of the cars are eliminated. This can be discouraging for a first time racer.
