Davidv Responds: "Buy the Z first, then let's talk."
It's short and simple, but its probably the truth. 9 out of 10 posts, "I'm looking at a Z" end with the person not buying a Z.
Example 2: Someone posts, "My buddy has a SS Camaro, who do you think will win? I have intake, exhaust."
Davidv Responds: "Go to the track and post back here with time-slips."
Again, short and simple, but the truth. We can bibble-babble all day long about Camaro SS v. 350Z, but in the end you get 24.7 of the same answers. "Driver's race" or "You will get smoked unless you get turbo". Davidv's response seems most common sense to me.
As far as the topic of the thread goes, I agree it would improve the quality of the board if date, time, location, etc. are posted, but I don't think it's possible 100% of the time. I have a post in Northeast and it's more of a "guaging interest" in a meet post. Not possible to set an exact time or location, but I got as close as I can.
