Default Quick questions and your opinion

Sup guys, I'm new to the forums and I must say that from reading these posts, you guys are pretty friendly and cool. I live in rockville/silver spring area and whenever I pass by or see another Z on the road, I always try to wave or say sup to em..and guess what I get in return? They give me the look of 'what the **** you looking at' or just straight up mean mugging. *sigh* anyways, quick questions

1) what is a PPW? is that another term for a 5 speed Z? if it is then i guess im the only one with a PPW, hehe. im starting to regret it now cuz i only got the automatic for my girl and mom. i wanted them to drive the car too or have somebody move it while im away or something but my mom doesnt want to even drive it anymore =/

2) what's a pop charger?

3) is it worth getting a turbocharger in an automatic?

4) is this legal? cuz if it is then i really need to talk to somebody who knows a place where they can do this

http://www.alteredatmosphere.com/customers/c-juan-350z/

(notice the lights of the car)

thanks for ur help in advance

I have a 5AT ZR... I can answer a few

1) Pikes Peak White

2) It's a coned filter that allows the car to breath better. It gives it a little more horse power and sounds real cool.

3) Wouldnt doubt it. Dont ask me though, dont have one.

4) As far as I know, its legal. I checked on the MVA site a few weeks ago, and the only headlight restriction I found, was they cannot be blue.

:-)

Frederick nissan does lot of performance work. I hear they are expensive though. They showcase lots of nice cars though. I believe the owner has a skyline (r32 or r33).

I dont know much about engines and stuff under the hood, but I think you can put a BOV on any turbo, AT or MT.

Could be wrong...

Welcome.

Not every 350Z driver is friendly and will acknowledge a wave. I always flash the lights.

PPW: Pikes Peak White.

The questions that you ask are interesting, but each deserves a lengthy discussing. And each has been discussed at length. Just study the other forums. One of the best ways to learn about the car is come to a 350Z meet. Members will be happy to answer questions, and show their mods.

I wonder what Frederick Nissan charges for labor to install the GReddy TT?

And I assume that you have to buy the TT kit through them. I wonder what they are charging for the kit?

This is VERY interesting.
