LOL, I know man.... Trust me I know... I think I have my car on strict visitation policy... I get to see her every couple of weeks for a few hours and once a month I get to take her out for a spin.... The rest of the time she stays locked up at AAM

Anyway, I was thinking this is it, but I want to finish out the suspension (camber/toe adjusters) and the only other thing I am concerned with is a roll cage. But pretty much, I have had enough, and spent more then that... I want to enjoy my car now.

Default Congrats!

Congrats, It sounds like we are in a similar situation.
The timming of my engine build is not the greatest either. I am running a turbonetics ST and am burning about 7 quarts of oil in 3K miles. So my build needs to happen VERY soon! I Live in King George VA and work in LaPlata MD. I am planning on having Kevin at CPR doing my build, install, and tunning. What setup did you end up getting? I just bought my Pauter Rods, and I am going to be using the Arias Extreme Duty Pistons, Not Sleeved, 1/2" head studs, 650 injectors, fuel return system, minor head work, and the UTEC. (FOR NOW!

jwtbrickyard: I use to date a girl in KG. we should meet up sometime. I did not sleeved I see no reson to seeing as I am not planing on pushing more than 400whp.

-Pauter Billet Forged rods
-ARP Rod Bolts
-Arias zero silican AM Extreme duty pistons 9.0.1 .020 overbore
-VQ 12mm studs
-TurboXS UTEC (sold my fcon)

I have 44cc injectors installed now along with AAM fuel sestem

No it is not... sore subject right now. many many delays, but Noah is pushing it as fast as they can.

Pumped: You’re not going to push much past 400? Why the complete rebuild then, just for precaution? I have felt pretty safe running what I have now, if I did not have higher HP goals, I would have been happy staying stock.

I know you would have been happy staying stock also, but would it not have been better to rebuild a stock block then getting a custom built block?

Just curious as I thought you were going to be shooting for 500 - 600whp.

well I got a GREAT DEAL on the build for starters and after talking to sharif I was thinking about just swaping OEM parts out and staying stock but cost wise wasnt that much diffrent. Plus I was thinking for "resale" anybody wanting to add more HP or go TT they will have the platform to work from now and whos to say I just fixed my motor and stayed stock this wouldnt happen again? Just didnt want to risk it!

As for me and more HP ? Nope staying with my SC and staying safe

Default sounds good

Just let me know when you want to meet up. Maybe we can hit up MIR. I also thought you would be shooting for higher whp than 400. That block is indestructable and you should be able to change your pulley size and SAFELY be near 500's. And when you want to sell... you swap the pulley back. It would be pretty hard for you to damage that engine. I am shooting for 500 to start with, but plan on much bigger and better #'s down the road. I am busy the next two weekends but after that I should finally be free to meet up. Talk to you later.

P.S. What shop are you having do your install and tune? CP??? Where are they located?
