what do all you guys think of being so nice
Everybody has opinions (and everybody remembers the old saying in relation to that...). I do have to say that bashing somebody for dropping a question or opinion is a little harsh, but in defense of the newb slayers: post wisely. If you don't know how to search for an existing thread, or you drop a line of BS on the boards, expect some backlash.

I will kindly and gently direct you to the thread already open on this very subject kind sir.

Questions dont bother me, but stupid Q's do-stupid meaning Q's that have been asked 100X a year and a simple search could answer. I hate lazy people-guys that post "how much hp can my Greddy kit make?" and "How much boost can I run?" -->RESEARCH like the best of us do. This new generation of Fast and Furious a$$ clowns is stupid, they'd rather have a body kit and altezza tail lights than a well running car. They put BOV's on their STI's and make them run like $hit-they dont care, in their minds their faces arent full of zits and they think they look cool wearing their hat sideways and listening to 50 cent. Ill just stop now before I go on a personal mission to get rid of all dumb newbs and distasteful Z modders...

Personally I think a little bit of self-control is about time for most of the worst offenders.
I honestly believe that a majority of the people that act rudely/aggressively on the boards to people they don't know only do it because they can't or are too afraid to do it to people in real life.
There is a proper and improper way to talk to people. Telling a guy that you have only just met at your job to RTFM is out of line. Whereas saying, “Have you read the manual? It's located in such 'n such a location and has most of the information you might need.” BIG difference in how you go about it.
People on the boards feel like they can insult anyone because there is no repercussion. In real life you would either get fired/reprimanded, have your but kicked or kick their butt then have criminal charges placed against you for assault.
I recently had some dude tell me I was f'ing retarded for asking a question about lawyers on another forum. Now, I doubt he would have had the ***** to say that to me face to face. He now says that’s just the way he talks to people and I have not been on the board long enough to tell him how he should address people. I say that if I have been sitting in a bar discussing this topic and this had happened, either he would NOT have said this, or he would have been looking for a fight.
Summary, everyone has the right to say their opinions, just as much as people have the right to ask question. Just be polite about it and remember your manners.

Just kidding man, playing around.Gotta say from my time talking to Kelly, you must have insane patience and attention to detail to work on something like that. One very little mistake could cost a pilot his life and the loss of a multi million$ piece of equipment. I deal with software these days and we have bugs/mistakes all the damn time.

Bert: You’re just very opinionated and have some of the skills to back those opinions up. But if I just met you in a bar and you treated me like a ***, we might be having some words.. LOL

Bert: I know you do not disrespect people. But I will tell you that some people on these boards have really thin skin and can get upset at the slightest offense. I am by no way saying we should censure ourselves because some people can't take the criticism. Just that to some people who do not know you, your sarcasm/smart @$$ comments can come off a bit unappreciated.
I know you are a smart @$$ and I am not saying being opinionated is a bad thing. More like there are lot of people who don't have opinions, don't care or don't know. You on the other hand do care about what you speak, do your research, learn about it and try to educate/talk to other people. SO therefore you have many opinions to share and have a good reputation on backing it up with knowledge. There are a lot of other people on these boards, that have lots of opinions but have nothing to back it up with in the above categories.
So, no offense intended or implied towards you Bert.
That is the thing with this damn internet communication, you can’t ‘read’ people. Many times intentions get garbled and the wrong message gets across.
