Talking Aerosync Finally!

After much await I got my Aerosync Front Bumper painted and installed. I first bought a KurumaZ bumper through Performance Nissan and it was damaged through UPS shipping, , so it took over 2 months to get my refund back because of 2 denied claims. Then I bought the Aerosync Bumper from Gruppe-S back in April through Greyhound Express shipping which I picked up in Woodbridge. Again it was damaged through shipping but I decided to keep it and fix the damage. I sent pictures to Preston at Gruppe-S and the said the would take care of it. As my friend was getting it prepared for paint he found some small cracks where the bumper meets the hood. So again, I sent some picks to Preston at Gruppe-S and through great customer service refunded me back the money it would take to get the bumper fixed, phew!! So my friend reinforced the whole area where the crack was along the whole bumper and fixed the other bump under one of the headlights. So yesterday I got it painted and put on after a wait of 8 months for this bumper, yeahhhhh !

But here comes the bad news, as I was pulling into my driveway at my parents house yesterday after installing it , I crept slowly at an angle and I heard, the most dreaded sound in the world, scrapping. Holy S*%*#! I just got this, I hate my life. Luckily the damage was totally underneath the bumper which cannot be seen. I will probably get it fixed down the road and will try to find a rubber slim piece to stick there to prevent any other damage. Has other people had this problem? My car isn't even lowered!

Anyway much anticipated pics:

The fitment on this bumper is outstanding. A little gap where the wheel well is but I think I can tighten the screw a little bit to fix it. Overall the Aerosync is a good replica for fitment and quality. It is definently much thicker than the stock one and about 5-10 lbs heavier. I did drill holes in the bottom of the bumper for the engine cover and had to use 2 zip tie's on each end near the wheel well though, can't see it. Also I did drill a hole for the toe hook as well.

Nice look man I like-whats up with the ends by the fenders curving in like that though? Never seen it fit like that on this bumper...

She looks very nice and keeps the lines of the original bumper. My 06 is the same color but I went for the v2 replica [waiting on it]. Torn as I see more of these nice v1 setups.

Don't worry about the scraping, it will happen from time to time...especially if you lower her when you get your wheels.

Alberto,
Hopefully it is just tightening of the screw or a bolt and nut can be put there to make it match better.

PS: Nice times you posted there!!! That's a damn fast Z!
