Just get off at the dupont metro and walk south on conn.

There are plenty of bars and clubs.

 

dunno what crowd u like...I'm a fan of saki in adam's morgan. maybe cuz theres always indian ppl there. Sequoia on the waterfront is cool.

 

Kstreet Lounge on fridays is HOTT, some other nice places are Home, 1223 is ridiculous, especially VIP on the top 2 floors( its worth the extra bucks), Andalu is also right accross the street and is fun also..

 

14th and L at around 4 am is fun.. lots of hookers.. though.. they do seem to mind if you puke on the street infront of them.

Kstreet is the only one on K street, the rest are on conneticut i believe, not too sure about the metro stop...i always drive from bmore. you can search online and should be able to find more detailed info

 

1223( its called Spank on the top 2 floors), andulu, there is another good club called Play, and an afterhours club called FIVE all right at the same intersection. its hoppin to say the least

 

I am not a big fan of 1223. I loved this other place called Vida, but I think they shutdown.

 

all in the same vicinity as 1223, FIVE etc are some good bars...Lucky Bar, Porters, MadHatters, Buffalo Billiards, Front Page

Cleveland Park has some good bars too...CP bar and grill, Four Fields (if you like an Irish pub with live music) and a couple of more I can't think of.

If you don't like smokey atmospheres head to Bethesda...***** and Reeds is a great sports bar, Rock Bottom Brewery...and some other posh bars

i didnt read all the posts so maybe someone already mentioned it but K street lounge is really nice, its on the Mcphearson square metro stop and its only 1 block away.

 

MadHatters and Lucky Bar. Best 2 places to drink cheap! Also the drinks are HUGE!!! Problem is they are always very packed. Hard to get around.
