Very Impressive. I live in Sterling, so I'm only a 20 minute drive away. Finally a shop that focuses on customer service as much as on any other aspect of their shop. It's surprising that more shops haven't caught on that customer service actually matters.

I'll be your first customer for corner balancing (needed desperately) I have a full race suspension that needs tweaking for maximum corner tackling power, please let me know when everything is up and running!

Wow, the pics look impressive and a lot of what you wrote does as well. Really like how you are looking to take care of the customer on so many ends. Very impressed so far

I seriously doubt it. I've purchased every performance part I have from Ptuning. Excluding wheels and tires. I know they're knowledgable and you can even meet the ptuning guys, b/c they regulary come to the sterling Chick-Fil-A meet. They always answer my noob Z questions. Congrats on finally breaking ground for construction!

Very nice, you could fit plenty of cars in there. Everything looks top notch with no expense spared. You have some competition....Curry's, AAM, and Mach V. I suppose Evo and Vertex are no longer around.

You might want to post in the North East forum too...good luck!

Vertex in Tysons is now VIP Tuning ... and Function Tuned will be opening up in Sterling (very convenient for me).

Where were y'all when my Z broke down on me in Manassas. Would have been great if you guys could have swapped my injectors out for me in an hour instead of towing the car 3-4 hours back to PA.

Looking forward to this opening. I'd definitely be up for a drive to the grand opening party...

I know ... finally the Mods let us post legitimate gripes about them. They didn't help their cause either by starting a thread on how wonderful AAM is. Word of mouth is ah b!tch.

Curious to whether or not you guys specialize in one type of car?

If AAM's rep wasn't so bad, they wouldn't have any competition at all since they specialize in the Nissan/Infiniti community. I tend to notice cars go to specialized shops rather than shops that generalize. Just like how you'd go to a brain surgeon for a brain tumor rather than a general doctor.

We do not specialized in just one type of car nor do we plan to get into the business of working on just one type of vehicle--cars come and go. Every vehicle is unique in design and they each have there own quirks. But knowing the basic fundamentals of how a modern vehicle works from suspension to drivetrain to fuel injection to force inductions allows us to tackle most vehicle. If we had to say that we specialized in something, i would say we specialized in forced induction performance.

I think most of the shops in our area will work on any car but it's just that some cars are the "in" car at the time. If I had a shop I wouldn't want to miss out on money I could be making. Currently Evo's, 350's and G35's are the hot cars. I don't know who does the Honda exclusive tuning in this area. I drove home for a hot minute last week and you wouldn't believe how many thumbs up and "I've never seen a car like yours!!!" comments I got. I was shocked because I see alot of yall modified whips at least once a week.
