Just wanted to post this up for you guys, since I've read some posts asking about some local meets and this one came to me thru my email.

Haven't decided whether or not to go yet, but it sounds like some fun. Its supposed to be pretty nice (yet cold) this weekend. Anyone interested?

Maybe the Z's will invade the Lotus fun.

think im going to go to this sat drive, i need to get the cobwebs outta my car, its been sitting for a week cause of the weather we have been having.

plus the VA to NC drive is too much for me , im just looking for a couple hours so this seems like a good fit, im looking forward to running a lotus also maybe

 

If its not wet from today and the storms pass, My roommate and I will be bringing the Z and the Supra. I kinda thought the same. Not enought time for a NC cruise with the holidays here, but a nice short one would be nice. Keep your fingers crossed. We need the new temptag to get here today or else the Supra will be quite lonely in the garage on Sat.

Well, considering it's my roomates dream car and mainly his find (I only helped in the aquisition and making the deal work) and will be assisting in the build. Its kind of a group project and will be funded by the both of us. Unfortunately I had some things come up lately so a lone build is out for a little bit. Im sure Ill start in the Z and probably switch over. That car is a friggin blast to drive man! Completely differerent animal than the Z. If it wasn't for him really it wouldn't be in the garage. He always wanted one and I bought into it (its called an addiction, lol). Not to mention, he got rid of his Lexus, so he doesn't have anything fun to drive anymore.

But Bert, Ive been doing my research and there are some new Christmas presents coming for it.

 

Very cool, cant wait to see it as you/your friends turn it into a beast...have fun on the cruise.

 

Update: This is still a go. Just recieved some emails from the Supra guys and they will be arriving around 10 or so. They're also reporting some Porches and a "caterham"? Not quite sure what that is, but it sounds pretty cool.

We should make this the too lazy to drive to N.C. thread. lol

 

I Think I am going to make. It will give me an opportunity to test out my new ChaseCam DVR system...
