Default MD or VA fender rolling..

Anyone know a reputable place that does this and how much it would be? I'd like to get 5mm Spacers for the front and rear. Thanks in advance for the help..

I can rent you a tool and heat gun if you like. Most shops charge $120+ for rolling/cutting, $65 and you can rent it from me. I just got it back from a member in North Carolina who said it worked well for him...I am honestly to lazy/busy (lol funny combo huh?) to find time to do it now.

No just for the rears or front/rear seperately. BTW you cant roll the front fenders on the Z they are nicely curved from the factory

Tool renting considered... I don't want to **** anything up though so I'll probably need good directions. I trust myself installing mechanical parts, but body work is a different story. Is it that easy? If so, I'll pick it up Friday night at GD's.

Default cut

I had mine cut and have had no issues. I've heard that rolling is more likely to crack your paint in the long run due to the stress to the paint not strecthing like the metal. I had Area 51 in Fredricksburg (540-898-0951) do mine and they did an excellent job. I think they only charged me one hour labor and they let me change my oil myself while it was up on their lift. They do very high quality work. But if the word CUT scares you, Albertos deal sounds pretty good.

Cutting the seam welds isnt a good idea. Ive done a few rolls now, with no cracks at all. Id like to see your car in 2 or 3 years after some harsh winters with salt-you will likely have moisture between your 2 pieces of rear fender and we all know that leads to rust.

tyler-its not hard, you just have to maintain heat on it the whole time, think about it and let me know.

+1

I had mine rolled a while back, but would've tackled it myself had somebody in the area had the tool at the time ('Berto picked it up a few months afterwards IIRC). It's not that bad a deal from what I've seen.

I'll definitely keep it in mind.. I don't have a garage, so I'll wait till it gets warmer and actually have the spacers to put on.. Thanks Alberto..
