Holy hell! Ummmmm I dont think Skyline drive can handle all these cars at once.

 

^^Yea I was beginning to wonder that. Does anyone know how many joined up last year? Judging from previous pictures, it didn't look close to this.

 

It would take about 4-6 hours to do (drive) the entire park...and that is just one way...There is more than enough road...parking might be a challenge however since the park speed are an average of 25mph...we can park on the side of the road when we want to stop at non-designated areas....This drive is going to be OFF THE FREAK METER!

Trust me when I say that a 15mph curve at 30 is more than thrilling...more curves in this park than J-Lo's best feature!

Parking



Bob Evans Restaurant will be crowded on Sunday. Parking in the restaurant lot is not recommended.

On the south side of the restaurant is a PETCO lot with room for all vehicles.

 

Thanks for the numbers. I look forward to a 50 percent turn out. Pull-off areas have room enough for about 20 vehicles. The second group will just park a little farther down the road. One group will be passing the other sort of like leapfrog.

WARNING TO ALL WHO ARENT FROM AROUND HERE.

I66 is the most cop infested road in VA, IMO. Cops are ****** and they dont like street cars. Also they run sting operations in cars that were taken for drag racing. The windows are dark azz shizzil and they rev up the engines acting like you want to race... these are hondas, mustangs, cameros, acuras and I think a Supra! once you punch it, the lights in the grill, dash or otherwise come on and your are popped for racing and reckless in most cases. I know two people this happen, both beat the racing but that the speeding and points.!!! 80mph in VA is automatic Reckless and 90 is automatic jail with a day added for each mile an hour over 90. I aint kidding, just ask the 5 or 6 cars that all got stopped leaving skyline drive last time with that loud azz GTO! For all the MD guys who are used to fines, if you are side by side when you get popped, both of you are losing your rides and most likely going to jail on the spot. Also those coming down Route 28, same applies, cops are out and willing to drop a ticket for a little as 7 mph over the speed limit. So with so many flashy rides sparkling down I66, I495, and possibly Route 28....dont say that someone didnt care enough to warn you. All of you have cruise control, my advise is to use it ESPECIALLY on I66 East of Manassas to I495..cops are no joke...10 over is a ticket in a lot of cases. Goal is to have a good time. The twisties are plenty of adrenaline, trust me..you will feel like you worked out after the drive! Save your energy for then.....My 75 cents worth... all my tickets in the 5 years I have been here are on those roads...10 over, 25 over and 45 over....I didnt go to jail, because I went to Iraq for a year. THANK GOD, if that makes sense.
