Location is the mason dixon drag strip. You can run your car as many times as you want from 11 to 4. Its $20 to run your car and $5 to get in. I thought we could meet at 10am and hang out a bit before the raceing starts. Now you dont have to race your car if you dont want to

Let me ask you guys a question, any of you have a helmet? I would hope that I would need one when I go to the track.....

 

I dont wear a helmet, your supposed to if you run 13.99 or quicker. My best times have been 13.9, but my average times are around 14.1

 

I grew up in PA and I will be in Chambersburg over that weekend for my birthday. I would love to make a few run in my car!

 

But i dont think it is needed until people really start modding their cars. Im glad to see some people are coming. I hope more will show up.

Spring Carlilse is that weekend also and it is always a great way to spend and afternoon. The Spring show has always been huge since it is one of the first local shows of the year and people are ready to get out and about ...

D-ohhh!! Well I'll try and make it since I couldn't the last local one only problem is.. its 2 days after my Laser eye surgery. Anyone know if they have a Brail drag strip?

 

If you are coming from Washington DC or Baltimore get on Rt. 270 or Rt. 70 and head towards Frederick, Md. Once at Frederick get on, or stay on, Rt. 70 west towards Hagerstown. Follow Rt. 70 until you reach Rt. 66 (Exit 35). Once at the bottom of the ramp turn onto Rt. 66 South, go about 1/2 miles until you reach Rt. 40 (you will see a Sheetz convienance store at the intersection) turn left (east) on Rt. 40 and go just another 1/2 mile, the Dragstrip entrance will be on your right.

If you are coming from Harrisburg or Martinsburg get on to Rt. 81 and follow it to Hagerstown, Md., when you get to Rt. 70 go east towards Frederick, Md. Follow Rt. 70 to EXIT 32A (Rt. 40). Get off that exit and follow Rt. 40 east for exactly 3.7 miles. The track entrance will be on your right side.
