Where do you have your EZPass?
Just got a new one and looking to mount it in an inconspicuous place. It says to mount it below the tint if there is any on the top of windshield, but it looks ridiculous given how far the tint seems to come down.
But by the same token, they send you a foil bag to keep it in in your car if you don't want it read at a particular booth. So which is it - either the thing is so sensitive that it needs to be in a foil bag not to be read and will be just fine mounted anywhere - or it needs to be in one particular spot.
Anyone have it mounted on the bottom/drivers side corner of the windshield? Or right behind the rearview even if its tinted?

I mount mine on the windshield behind the rearview mirror so I can't see it when I'm driving. It looks like hell from outside the car, but I go through the tolls twice a day so its less of a hassle while I'm downshifting to 2nd and peeling out of the tolls.

Geez with this thread being bumped it makes me miss my Z even more. The X drives almost as great though.
I ended up with a suction-cup mount so that I can pop it on and off when I dont need it. Works great and since I only use it a few times a month it doesnt have to stay on there.

just pull out your center dash console and mount it INSIDE your dash! never mess with it again! Hidden from view!
There is a how to on this side for removing the center dash section.
