Cool man congrats on getting everything worked out. I've been taking my Z to the dealer for my oil changes even though the 04's dont have this problem afaik. I just dont want to take any chances. So your getting an HR? Will you be the first to have a newer engine in an older G/Z? I always thought that I put alot of miles on my cars but you actually got me beat by 500 a month. lol

The 2007 G Coupes dont have the HR, but they do have the rev-up (obviously). We will see how things pan out. If that puppy is burning oil every 1,000 miles, trust me when I say that I will have a new engine on order ever 3,000 miles...eventually they will get sick of me and I will ask for an even trade for a M35X Sport Package...lol.

Update:

1. All who own Infiniti's....Take your ride to Infiniti of Chantilly...Ask for Steve.
2. I should get my new longblock installed by Wed.
3. Look out for Skyline Drive in May.
4. Every 3K miles I was told I can get a new engine if the oil is low.

NEW ENGINES HAVE NEW PARTS!!!??

I just read something on the "oil consumption" thread that says that NISSAN has changed the pistons and such in the new motors to eliminate the oil guzzling issues.

Also they said that they are offering 7/yr 100000 miles...hmmm I didnt get offered that....willl have to look into that....

Anyone heard anything else?
