Anyone notice the recent climb of racism towards koreans?
I'm usually one to keep my voice silent, but I for one think things are getting a little out of hand. As a Korean-American who has lived in this country since birth, I find it very tragic that some individuals in society are blaming a race for one individuals problem.
Just because I am Korean does not mean I had anything to do with the shootings. Stop looking at me funny while I to go my car, or smoke a cigarette outside. I see parents pull their children away from my direction, people coming to my place of work and leaving after they see who I am, and acts of vandalism. Recently in Northern Virginia, a Korean bakery in Centreville (yes I understand that this is the area the shooter was from) was vandalized by bricks. Now this is where it gets a little personal. My mother owns a self cleaning carwash in the area, and goes promptly every morning to make sure everything is running. It would be hard to not know that she is the owner of the carwash. Now I wake up one morning to her calling me telling me that the wash has been vandalized. And for what? Because we share the same ethnicity as the shooter? Even the KKK demonstrated their hatred by shooting down a church in New York.

most mass-shootings are comitted by caucasians. I don't get why people have to react to a whole ethnic group cuz one person decided to act selfishly and take others down with him and his problems. Sad Day, even sadder when peole react against a group for an individuals problem.

Boo-hoo, it must suck so much to be part Korean. Living in this country must really suck. If its so bad why not try fun places like North Korea, China, Cuba, or how about the ever popular Sudan where ethnic cleansing and genocide are the in thing. Hey maybe if you're lucky then after years of oppression you can ask for reperations like black people do. Obviously there is going to be a backlashing at asians. Actually that did happen(racist towards whites).. Do you remember the Rodney King Incident?? Anyways, its sad we have a bunch of uneducated ****'s that ****ing do these things to hard working citizens.. Its a ****ing idiotic thing to do.. Taking it out on a racial group.. **** will get worse if our laws dont become more strict, those vandalists have nothing to live for anyways.. Just lock them up.. IMO..
I cant believe I fight in Iraq so losers can ruin a hard workers life like this.. I feel like im wasting my time.. ***, it pisses me off that people cant open their eyes to reality and fuking realize a psycho is a psycho(Individual).. Not a ethnic group thing.. Just a bad seed and one that didnt get any discipline growing up.. Its called bad parenting and lack of morals.. I fight in this War so decent Americans can do their jobs and open businesses to become successful (not worrying about IEDs in the streets). As the the shootings - the media has yet again, done it's job to make it into a race thing. I was watching CNN and they kept saying "the Asian may walked into the classroom...the shooter was Asian...the Asian shooter and his Asian girlfriend blah blah..." It's going to be hard on us Asians for the next couple of weeks...
